في مرحلة ما وبعدَ فوات الأوان، سنُدرِك أنّ العدو الأكبر لنا هوَ نحنُ.. فنحنُ من كنّا نمنح الأعذار للآخرين ، نحنُ من حمّلنا قلوبنا من التعب والندم ما لا تطيق، تفنّنا في اختيار الأذى ومن تسببوا فيه، كنّا ننتصِر على أنفسنا من أجل غيرِنا ، سَلكنا طرقاً مليئة باليأس وتحمّلنا عِبء المضِي وصعوبة العودة.. ادّعَينا أننا نسينا وتخطٍينا حتى وصلنا إلى مرحلة وجدنا أنفسنا كما نحن لاشيء تغيٍر.. بعدَ فوات الأوان أدركنا كم الأسى الذي تسببناه لأنفسنا.. بعدَ فوات كل شيء.. وفوات الجميع تُحاصرُنا أنفسنا ولا جهة آمِنة نهرُب إليها مِنّا
