We are looking for Senior Data Scientist at The Ascent Group
Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities -

• Building the scalable Fintech Products for Crypto, Private Equity Fund Accounting Automation.
• Need to process diverse types of data like (E.g., Financial Markets data, Crypto Currency data) extracting from multiple sources like REST API’s, Web Scraping, PDF’s and files etc.,
• Storing and Organizing the Funds data to easily access and process the data for Fintech Products using SQL/NoSQL databases like postgres, MongoDB, etc.,
• Building and maintaining data pipelines for data processing and generating the required data for the business use cases.
• Collaborating with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and design solutions to meet the requirements.
• Keep up to date with the latest Crypto, Data technologies and industry trends, particularly in the cryptocurrency space.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to plan, track and deliver projects and features using Project Management tools like Jira etc.,

Requirements -
• Strong background in Computer Science concepts like Data Structures, Algorithms and OOP's.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Data Science or a related field using Python (must have)/ JavaScript / Java etc.,
• Should have Strong coding skill.
• Delivering the good quality data on estimated timeline is very crucial.
• Experience with API pulling.
• Strong experience in SQL/NoSQL databases, such as Postgres, MongoDB.
• Experience with data visualization tools like tableau.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Familiarity with version control Git tools like Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Experience with data pipelines and data integration concepts (ETL) and technologies like Apache Kafka, Airflow etc is a plus.,
• Knowledge of blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies and Web3
