The accused so far:
26 Germans, 2 Swiss, 1 French, 1 Spanish, 1 Bulgarian, 1 Norwegian, 1 Austrian and 2 immigrants from Iran and Afghanistan
The NGOs:
"Mare Liberum", "Sea Watch", "FFM" and "Josoor International Solidarity"
"A lot of evidence was confiscated in the boat of Mare Liberum"
"From the first audit it is found that there are two categories of NGOs for the approximately 40 that are active in Lesvos . Those that really offer services and have all the necessary data for their financing and operation and four others whose headquarters are located in Germany and for which there is no data in Greece.
No VAT, no bank accounts, no employee payroll, no obvious ways of financing. The search for the specific organizations is undertaken by the Police with the help of the Greek Intelligence Agency"

"In addition, the investigation showed something else: frequent contacts of the crew members of the ship "Mare Liberum" with the Non-Governmental Organization "Josoor International Solidarity" for the exchange of information regarding migration flows that came or will come from Turkey to our country (place departure time, migration flow, age, sex and country of origin of the boat occupants)"
The raid
"On September 5, a raid was made in the "Mare Liberum"(ship) in order to find evidence. From the analysis of the digital evidence found on the boat, it appears that its members systematically monitored and recorded the communications of the Coast Guard during its operational action to protect the maritime borders of our country.
Promotion of the activity of AlarmPhone to a large number of former aliens living in the Reception and Identification Center of Lesvos, by distributing printed material in order to further promote and utilize the procedures of the aforementioned illegal action to achieve future migration flows."

"It was also found that during the migratory flows, they communicated with Alarm Phone and the migrants in the boat, giving orders and instructions for collecting and sending information related to them

they provided every possible assistance during the evolution of the migratory flows and came in contact with foreigners in Turkey whose crossing in the Greek coast was not successful, in order to collect information and photographic material of the operational activity of the Greek Coast Guard (pushbacks for propaganda and location for surveillance)"

"A key part of the investigation remains obscure so far: it is about the funding of these NGOs, the European funds they received every year since 2015 and of course why in Greece they do not show any data, although they have two boats and a large number of workers and volunteers.
Information indicates that money was coming from the NGO headquarters to specific accounts"
