Our usual Sunday note on postmodernism will be about yet another “duck”, albeit in the shape of an elephant this time. This skyscraper, which is often erroneously attributed to Sumet Jumsai, was built in 1997 in Bangkok to the designs of Ong-at Sattraphan and has since then been rated as both one of the most unique and one of the ugliest high-rises in the world.
