Frank Mason Robinson - creator of the Coca-Cola name and logo
Frank Mason Robinson came up with the name and created the well-known Coca-Cola logo. He was the secretary of John Pamberton (this is the person who created the recipe for the drink). Frank believed that two "C" letters would look good together, and it would be easier to advertise the future product, so he came up with the name - Coca-Cola.
The word "Coca" is coca leaves (cocaine), and "Cola" is such a tree (it is used in medicine). These ingredients were included in the first composition of the drink. With a good command of calligraphy, Frank independently created the first version of the logo (it cost the company $0).
The resulting drink was originally patented as a drug "for disorders of the nervous system."
