الإيمان لغةً هو التصديق بوجود الشيء، أما اصطلاحاً فهو قولٌ باللسان، وتصديقٌ بالقلب، وعملٌ بالجوارح، وللإيمان أركان ستة؛ وهي: الإيمان بالله عز وجل، والملائكة الكرام، ورسل الله عليهم الصلاة والسلام، والكتب السماوية المنزلة، واليوم الآخر، والقدر خيره وشره.
