Just bought my first Thinkpad!! ( x1 nano), need some advice!

My new job requires tons of business travel, so I need to choose a thin and ultralight business portable. Looked at several options but kept coming back to the X1 Nano for the size and weight.
Just got it delivered! It's super light, but everybody is saying there's some issues with battery life.
How did you guys deal with this issue? And tips or accessories recommoddations?
