👨🏫 معنی برخی افعال با توجه به قسمت بعد از آن‌ها تغییر می‌کند (در صورت استفاده از gerund یا مصدر همراه با to معنی یکسان ندارند):
1️⃣ A. regret doing/having done sth پشیمان بودن از کاری • I regret leaving school so young. از اینکه مدرسه را زود ترک کردم پشیمانم.
1️⃣ B. regret to say/inform/tell (قبل از گفتن خبرهای بد) متأسفانه باید به شما بگم که/متأسفانه باید به اطلاعتون برسونم که • I regret to inform you that your contract will not be renewed. متأسفانه باید به اطلاعتون برسونم که قراردادتون تمدید نخواهد شد. @WritingandGrammar
2️⃣ A. forget/remember doing sth به یاد آوردن/فراموش کردن یک عمل (نمی‌دانیم انجام داده‌ایم یا نه) • I forgot locking the door. یعنی در را بستم ولی یادم نمیاد که این عمل رو انجام دادم. 2️⃣ B. forget/remember to do sth فراموش کردن/به یاد آوردن انجام کاری که باید انجام دهیم • I forgot to lock the door. یادم رفت در رو قفل کنم. #grammar #review
