Ethio Dance Fitness is a vibrant and dynamic fitness center that combines traditional Ethiopian dance with modern fitness techniques to create a unique and engaging workout experience. We are dedicated to promoting health and wellness through culturally inspired dance routines and fitness programs.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager to oversee the operations of Ethio Dance Fitness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness management, excellent organizational skills, and a deep appreciation for Ethiopian culture and dance. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive membership growth, ensure high-quality customer service, and maintain the overall smooth running of the fitness center.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the gym, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members.
- Manage class schedules, including the coordination of instructors and the booking of gym spaces.
- Monitor and maintain gym equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
2. Staff Management:
- Supervise instructors and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing support and development opportunities for staff.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
3. Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service and member satisfaction.
- Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the member experience and retention.
4. Marketing and Membership Growth:
- Develop and execute marketing plans to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Organize events, promotions, and outreach programs to increase visibility and engagement.
- Utilize social media and other digital marketing tools to promote Ethio Dance Fitness.
5. Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial goals are met.
- Monitor membership sales, renewals, and revenue streams.
- Provide regular financial reports to the owner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role within the fitness or wellness industry.
- Strong understanding of dance fitness, gym and wellness principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Passion for Ethiopian dance and culture is highly desirable.
