๐Ÿ‘‘ Once a king decided to test the capabilities of his subjects. He ordered a huge stone to be brought and placed across the road. Then he hid and watched how people would behave.

๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ People walked by, trying various ways to go around the stone, cursing the king, complaining that he didn't care about removing the obstacle from their path. The king observed.

๐Ÿ›ค๏ธ Then, a peasant approached in a cart pulled by oxen. He saw the stone on the road, an obstacle not only for him but for everyone. Despite cursing the king, he unhitched the oxen, placed planks under the stone, tied it with ropes, and with incredible effort, he moved it aside. To his surprise, beneath the stone lay a purse of gold. The peasant picked it up and found a note inside: "This is a reward for those who overcome obstacles." ๐ŸŒŸ

If you're overwhelmed by a big task and can't get started, try breaking it down into smaller steps. "This significantly eases the task, and most importantly, you see immediate results! It's like being asked to eat an elephant. Clearly, you could only do it by cutting it into small steaks."

This is one of the oldest calming techniques in the world and one of the most effective. A few deep breaths help activate the part of the nervous system responsible for slowing the heartbeat and lowering blood pressure. Focused deep breathing can temporarily distract you from your problems.

The temptation to shake off a bad mood and immediately suppress negative emotions is strong, but it can be harmful. Instead, therapists advise allowing yourself to experience all the emotions that arise. "Don't force your feelings to be quiet; instead, ask yourself what's happening."

Risk makes us feel alive. This applies to work, relationships, and even the everyday decisions we make. When something important is at stake, we engage more deeply in the process. ๐ŸŽฏ

Life is about sacrifice and taking risks. If an experience lacks a moderate dose of sacrifice while involving risk, it cannot truly be called a life. An old Indian walked into the bank and asked for a loan of $500. The bank employee began processing the paperwork.

"What are you going to do with this money?" he asked the Indian.

"I will go to the city to sell the jewelry I made."

"What do you have for collateral?"

"I don't know what 'collateral' is," the Indian said.

"Well, collateral is something of value that can cover the cost of the loan. Do you have a car?"

"Yes - a 1949 pickup truck."

"No, that won't do," the bank employee said. "Maybe you have livestock?"

"Yes, I have a horse."

"How old is it?"

"I don't know, she has no teeth left to determine."

Eventually, the Indian was granted the loan and given $500.

๐Ÿ’ผ A few weeks later, the Indian returned to the bank, pulled out a stack of money. He counted out what was owed to the bank and hid the rest.

"What are you going to do with the rest of the money?" the same employee asked.

"I'll put it in my wigwam," the Indian replied.

"I don't know what a 'deposit' is," the Indian replied.

"Well, you give your money to the bank, the bank takes care of it, and when you need the money, you can take it."

The old Indian thought for a moment and asked:

A teacher of the highest level didn't disdain the work of a farmer. He wrote many wise books and teachings. Once a man, having read all this and imagining himself a seeker of the Path, came to him to talk about lofty matters.

"I've read all your books, teacher," said the visitor, "I agree with some and disagree with others. In some of them, I again agree with some parts and don't understand others. Some books I like more, others less. How can this be explained?"

The wise farmer led his guest to a large livestock yard, where there were many different animals and feed for them. There he said:

"I am a peasant, a producer of food. Do you see those apples and carrots? Some like one, others like another. Do you see the cabbage and pumpkin? Some like one, others like another. Do you see these animals? Some people prefer some for riding, others for breeding, and still others for consumption. Someone loves chickens, someone - goats. The concepts of 'like' or 'dislike' cannot be a common denominator. It's all food." ๐ŸŒพ
