Devhouse is a service company that has been creating great solutions for startups in Northern Europe (Norway, Sweden, Britain) for more than 10 years. Now we are strengthening the team, so we are looking for another senior Fullstack Developer for one of our projects.

Requirements

— Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field
— Commercial experience in React development: from 3 years
— Commercial PHP development experience: from 3 years
— Driven by quality and testing as much as simplicity and pragmatism
— Our current stack is: PHP/Symfony, React.js, Docker, MySQL/PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch (nice to have), RabbitMQ, Redis, NodeJS (nice to have)
— Experience in other technological stacks (Kotlin, Nodejs, Python, Go) is a plus. But eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks is a necessity
— Strong communication skills in English (B2+)

Responsibilities

— Be part of product and team. The focus will not be on your individual code, but on the outcomes that you generate for our customers and your colleagues
— Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
— Become a guardian of the company’s best practices. Finding pragmatic ways to influence the adoption of new practices that will raise our culture
— Bring solutions together with problems, understand our role as problem solvers and foster collaboration with other disciplines in the solution design stages
— Become a technical and behavioral reference for less experienced engineers and professionals in the team. Mentor, coach, and support their development
— Understand with adaptability and flexibility the rapidly changing nature of a startup, finding the optimal trade-off between delivery and technical debt. Focus on simplicity, efficiency, and performance
— Deliver high-quality software, with strong attention to well-documented code, and a testing obsession. We are a continuous delivery company
— Be proactive in continuous internal and external communication, with colleagues, stakeholders, or other teams in the organization

Telegram announces Anonymous Admins

The cloud-based messaging platform is also adding Anonymous Group Admins feature. As per Telegram, this feature is being introduced for safer protests. As per the Telegram blog post, users can “Toggle Remain Anonymous in Admin rights to enable Batman mode. The anonymized admin will be hidden in the list of group members, and their messages in the chat will be signed with the group name, similar to channel posts.”

Launched in 2013, Telegram allows users to broadcast messages to a following via “channels”, or create public and private groups that are simple for others to access.
