#انجمن_IEEE #مجله_پرتو در سال 1952، با تشکیل گروه تخصصی و حرفهای سیستمهای مخابرات در مؤسسه مهندسان رادیویی (Institute of Radio Engineers)، مجمع مخابرات IEEE یا IEEE Communications Society به گروه متفاوتی متشکل از متخصصین صنعتی از سرتاسر جهان با تمایلات مشترک به پیشرفت تکنولوژیهای مخابراتی تکامل یافت. این اعضا در زمینههای زیر با یکدیگر تعامل میکنند:
– تولید نشریات – برگزاری همایشها و کنفرانسها – گسترش برنامههای آموزشی – ترویج فعالیتهای منطقهای – فعالیت در کمیتههای تخصصی
از ژانویه 1972، IEEE ComSoc به صورت یک مجمع تخصصی مستقل در موسسه IEEE با بیش از 8000 عضو به فعالیت خود میدهد و به عنوان نخستین انجمن بینالمللی برای تبادل ایدهها و نظرات در خصوص تکنولوژیهای مخابراتی و شبکههای اطلاعاتی شناخته میشود.

In January alone, Telegram reported 90 million new accounts. Its founder, Pavel Durov, described this as “the largest digital migration in human history.” Signal reportedly doubled its user base to 40 million people and became the most downloaded app in 70 countries. The two services rely on encryption to protect the privacy of user communication, which has made them popular with protesters seeking to conceal their identities against repressive governments in places like Belarus, Hong Kong, and Iran. But the same encryption technology has also made them a favored communication tool for criminals and terrorist groups, including al Qaeda and the Islamic State.
