13 мая косовские власти запретили въезд на территорию Косово и Метохии Патриарху Сербскому Порфирию и еще семи архиереям, направлявшимся в Печскую патриархию для участия в торжественном открытии Архиерейского собора.
Патриарх Порфирий и епископы были возвращены с административного переезда Мердаре назад в центральную Сербию.
В связи с этим Архиерейский собор начнет свою работу не в Печской Патриархии, как планировалось, а в Белграде после Божественной литургии.
