Депутат Госдумы Яна Лантратова направила премьер-министру Михаилу Мишустину инициативу о том, что за оскорбление педагогов в России нужно ввести отдельную статью в административный кодекс, а штрафы за это правонарушение нужно значительно увеличить: для физлиц до 30 тысяч рублей, для должностных лиц — до 200 тысяч рублей, а для юрлиц — до 700 тысяч рублей. Изменения для КоАП уже разрабатываются.
