塔斯马尼亚之行（一）
圣诞节期间我们和父母一共四个人去塔斯马尼亚自驾，对塔州印象很好
12月20日下午出发霍巴特，12月28日从霍巴特回，共8天半
总开支8200AUD。塔州距离南极较近，又是圣诞假期，所以这几天的住宿和租车都比较贵。

大致行程：

- Day1下午: 抵达霍巴特
- Day2: Salamanka集市和MONA博物馆
- Day3: Port Arthur和Tasman Island Cruises
- Day4: Maria Island
- Day5: Freycinet National Park，酒杯湾和周边。
- Day6: 从Freycinet开到摇篮山，经过Rose（魔女宅急便）
- Day7: 摇篮山
- Day8: 从摇篮山沿着A5 Great Lakes Highway（高原地带） 回到霍巴特附近。
- Day9: 下午返回墨尔本。

Day1. 到达霍巴特
我们从家开到墨尔本机场，需要提前在墨尔本机场的网站上预定Value Car Park。大概提前半个月预定，我临出发几天前发现已经满了，所以旺季一定要提前预定停车场。
到达霍巴特后，我们预定的是East Coast Car Rentals的Mazda CX5，因为我还是临时牌照（P牌），而大部分租车都只接受Full，所以可选项很少，价格也比较高。
取车后就去酒店入住，然后吃晚饭，并在霍巴特港口周边转转。
之后几天都在小镇里，并且圣诞节不营业，所以霍巴特这几天吃得好一点。
Suwan Thai Restaurant：泰餐。四人126AUD。3.5星
Van Diemens Land Creamery：冰淇淋。Vibe很好，开心果和巧克力的味道都不错。推荐。4星

霍巴特的City会比墨尔本更有历史的感觉。霍巴特是澳洲第二老的城市仅次于悉尼，而且没有像墨尔本City有大量高楼大厦。走在街道上周围全都是殖民时期的建筑。来到霍巴特一下子就有了度假的，远离快节奏的感觉。霍巴特的港口，小公园也有很多活动。

Spiking bond yields driving sharp losses in tech stocks

A spike in interest rates since the start of the year has accelerated a rotation out of high-growth technology stocks and into value stocks poised to benefit from a reopening of the economy. The Nasdaq has fallen more than 10% over the past month as the Dow has soared to record highs, with a spike in the 10-year US Treasury yield acting as the main catalyst. It recently surged to a cycle high of more than 1.60% after starting the year below 1%. But according to Jim Paulsen, the Leuthold Group's chief investment strategist, rising interest rates do not represent a long-term threat to the stock market. Paulsen expects the 10-year yield to cross 2% by the end of the year. A spike in interest rates and its impact on the stock market depends on the economic backdrop, according to Paulsen. Rising interest rates amid a strengthening economy "may prove no challenge at all for stocks," Paulsen said.
