محمّد بن حسين از قول پدرش از جدّش نقل كرده است كه گفت: پيغمبر خدا صلى اللَّه عليه و آله درباره قول خداوند؛ صراطَ الَّذينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِم غَيرِ المَغضوبِ عَلَيهِم وَلَا الضّالّينَ (راه كسانى كه نعمت بر آنان ارزانى فرموده اى، نه راه آنها كه مورد خشم تو قرار گرفته اند و نه راه گمراهان) فرمود: شيعيان على عليه السلام كسانى هستند كه ولايت حضرت على بن ابى طالب بر آنان ارزانى شده است (خدا) بر آنان غضب نمى كند و گمراه نمى شوند.
