قال رسول الله ﷺ: «عليكم بقيام الليل فإنه دأب الصالحين قبلكم، وأن قيام الليل قُربه إلى الله عز وجل، ومنهاة عن الإثم، ومكفر للسيئات، ومطردة للداء عن الجسد».
