الله متعال می‌فرماید: شب قدر از هزار ماه بهتر است و علمای تفسیر می فرمایند: این شب فقط مخصوص یک نوع عبادت نیست بلکه انواع عبادت را در بر می‌گیرد. یعنی اگر در این شب هر کدام از اعمال نماز، ذکر، قرائت‌قرآن صدقه و..... را انجام دادی مانند آن است که بیشتر از هزار ماه(٨٣سال) این عبادتها را انجام داده باشی و این نشانه وسعت رحمت الله متعال است تا تو را از طریق این شب به بالاترین درجات بهشت برساند.
