إندلع حريق هائل في مدينة القدس، ويقترب من مقر قنوات تلفزيونية، وقد تم إجلاء سكان ثلاثة أحياء.
وقد فعّلت فرق الإطفاء إجراء تعبئة عامة في جميع أنحاء البلاد، بمشاركة الجيش الإسرائيلي.
وتعمل أكثر من ١١٠ فرقة إطفاء، من مختلف أنحاء البلاد في ثلاث محطات إطفاء قرب مدينة بيت شيمش.
