🔹 از حدود یک ماه پیش تخریب‌ بخشی از منطقه حفاظت‌شده کرخه و قطع درختان و پوشش گیاهی این پارک به منظور احداث سیل‌بند در اطراف شهرستان شوش آغاز شده و همچنان در حال انجام است.
🔹 منطقه حفاظت شده و پناهگاه حیات وحش کرخه با حدود ۱۴ هزار هکتار وسعت، در حاشیه رودخانه کرخه در غرب خوزستان قرار گرفته که زیستگاه اصلی گوزن زرد از گونه‌های در خطر انقراض است.
