📡 اولین پروسهٔ حفاری و نمونه‌برداریِ کاملا خودکارِ کاوشگر «#استقامت» از سنگ‌های مریخ در ۱۵ مرداد ۱۴۰۰ صورت گرفت (روز ۱۶۴ کاوشگر در مریخ). با وجود اینکه گودالی با قُطر ۲.۷ سانتی‌متر با موفقیت‌ حفاری شد، نمونه‌‌ای در درون محفظهٔ مخصوص قرار نگرفت. ماهیتِ خاک منطقه (سنگ‌های رسوبی)، خرد و ریز بودن سنگ‌ها و حالت پودریِ سنگ، از جمله دلایلی‌ست که عنوان شده 🌐. قرار است نمونه‌برداری در منطقه‌ای دیگر تکرار شود.
