π«π· - Few thoughts: yesterday I was privately arguing with people about how the fact the result of the match would be obvious gave the people who had the intention to fight the police a huge lead time to prepare themselves. Furthermore, I would note that the police maybe started using tear gas too early, notably before the match was even over.
Imo, this was a surprising failure by French security forces, and while tomorrow morning France will wake up as if nothing happened, I do wonder if this is the kind of display the police needs to show in a context, in France, that is always prompt to have "episodes".

π·πΊ - I think the real strategic independence of Russia will pass through:
Peace
Employment for the youth
Economic development
Opening up the economy
Anti-corruption fight

So this month I'm reaching 1 more year of age.
Just to avoid the endless "why did you cover this or that" debate, here is a list of topics I feel confident to comment on, because I have a reliable historic of understanding what is currently happening and what will follow, and another list of topics I don't feel comfortable specializing on:
1) Those I'm comfortable:
Elections in any given countries, may it be simply covering the count if they are stable countries or covering any potential post-electoral crisis.
Coups in Africa (or elsewhere if needed), notably covering them in real time as they occur.
Any potential riots in Europe (or elsewhere) is a topic where I have a reliable expertise.
Separatism, no matter the country, is a topic where obviously given my background I do have an expertise.
Democratic backsliding, also no matter the country, is a topic where I do have an expertise.
I'm not a lawyer, but I feel somewhat at ease to comment and cover on many legal issues in the West also, notably in the US or Canada
I'm also able to cover the economy when the need is there.
Its a touchy topic, but terrorism in general given the generation I'm from is a topic I'm well informed on and is able to comment and describe things is the need is there.
2) Those I'm not confortable:
Anything that's like "Hey what if I just covered every videos coming from Ukraine" or "what if I quoted any meaningless quote from an endless negotiation about a given country".
Thanks for your understanding :)
