Byzantian Interactive brings a new Middle-Earth to life. We are building an open-world action adventure game in Unreal Engine 5 for consoles and PC. A New Fantasy IP in the mode of J. R. R. Tolkien with the collaboration of seminal Tolkien artist, Ted Nasmith.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Artist to join our team. As a Technical Artist, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between art and programming, ensuring that our game's visuals meet the highest standards of quality while maintaining optimal performance on various platforms.

You will collaborate closely with artists, designers, and engineers to implement cutting-edge visual effects, streamline workflows, and solve technical challenges throughout the development process.

• Work closely with the art and engineering teams to develop and implement visually stunning and technically efficient assets, shaders, and effects within unreal engine 5
• Optimize art assets and shaders to achieve high-quality visuals while maintaining optimal performance across different hardware configurations and platforms
• Create and maintain art pipelines, tools, and workflows to streamline the content creation process and improve overall efficiency
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to prototype and implement new gameplay features, ensuring that artistic and technical requirements are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art and graphics, providing solutions and optimizations as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in game development and real-time graphics, and share knowledge with the team

📚 Твои скиллы
• Extensive experience (5 years) as a technical artist in the gaming industry
• Proficiency in unreal engine 5 and strong understanding of its rendering pipeline, shaders, and material systems
• Expertise in real-time graphics, including knowledge of lighting, shading, optimization techniques, and gpu performance profiling
• Strong programming skills with high-level proficiency in c++
• Experience with content creation tools such as maya, blender, substance painter, or zbrush
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the technical and artistic aspects of game development
