الصادقون في حديثهم وحواراتهم ليسوا أقل ذكاء من غيرهم، ولا هم غير قادرين على حبك الكذبات الواحدة تلو الأخرى لكنهم اختاروا الصدق بكامل إرادتهم لأن الكذب ضعف، وهم شجعان وأقوياء لذا لا حاجة لهم به.
لكن ليس مطلوباً منك أن تفشي أسرارك العائلية بدعوى أنك صادق وصريح.
وليس مطلوباً أن تتحدث بمعاصيك التي سترك الله، وأنت تجاهر بها والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "كل أمتي معافى إلا المجاهرين".
وليس مطلوباً منك أن تتعامل مع الناس بجرح مشاعرهم بدعوى أنك صادق وصريح، فهنالك فرق بين الصدق والوقاح.
