در زبان فارسی جدایی جنسی وجود ندارد مثلا " او " شامل زن و مرد می شود ، برخلاف زبانهای لاتین و عربی اگر جایی تاکید بر جنسیت باشد در زبان فارسی ، اولویت با زنهاست بر خلاف زبانهای لاتین و اروپایی ما میگیم : زن و شوهر به جای husband and wife میگیم خواهر و برادر به جای brother and sister ما میگیم زن و مرد به جای men and women حتی میگیم زن و شوهر یعنی مرد در ارتباط با همسر هویت شوهر پیدا می کند اما هویت زن دست نمی خورد ، به جای man and wife ما نمی‌گوییم mankind میگیم بشریت ما در زبان و ادبیاتمان به جنسیت اهمیت ندادیم و هر جا لازم بوده زنان را مقدم دانسته ایم . حتی در زبان فارسی زن یک واژه و مفهوم مستقل است نه مانند wo/man (زاییده ای کنار مرد ) ما ملتی نبودیم که الان هستیم !
