大學平安夜前夕洗太平地 中大拆民主女神、嶺大拆六四浮雕

港大前晚移走「國殤之柱」後，中大及嶺大隨即「跟機」。中大在今早約六時，圍封位於大學火車站大學入口的新民主女神像，並迅速移走，嶺大則同於今日凌晨拆除六四浮雕。
中大校方聲明則指，校方從未批准展示「該雕像」，又指曾參與安排展示「該雕像」的支聯會及中大學生會已解散或無實際運作，校方經內部評估後決定移走「該雕像」。
2010年，時任中大校長、現為資審會成員的劉遵義，當時以「政治中立」為由，拒絕新民主女神像擺放。6月4日六四晚會結束後，數千名市民護送新民主女神像入中大。
