As I heard folks say the phrase “storming the Capitol” later that afternoon,

It was clearly a similar description to “storming the field” at a football game—a crowd suddenly moved in to participate in a group expression; in this case, a protest.

Those who persistently pound this phrase, along with “deadly insurrection” and “attack on democracy” and other such hyperbolic absurdities, are quite obviously dishonest and corrupt in their politically biased attacks against innocent people caught in the crossfire.
