إذا هُدم المسجد القديم وبني من جديد، فإن أجر الباني الأول كامل ولا ينقطع بتجديد المسجد، كما قررته اللجنة الدائمة، وهذا يزيل الإشكال عن كثير من المتبرعين الذي يتردد بالإذن بإعادة بناء المسجد من جديد من غيره خشية ذهاب الأجر.
