1900名美国院士拉响警报：科研界遭遇"特朗普风暴"

当地时间3月31日，众多美国顶尖科学家在网上发出了一封公开信：呼吁特朗普政府停止对美国科学的全面攻击。

这封公开信由来自医学、流行病学、心理学、气候科学、社会学和经济学等领域的13位科学家起草。签名科学家均为美国国家科学院、工程院和医学院的成员，其中包括Harvey J. Alter、Francoise Barre-Sinoussi、Reinhard Genzel、Edvard I. Moser、May-Britt Moser等十多位诺奖得主。

院士们警告，美国可能丧失在医疗创新、清洁能源等领域的领导地位，他国民众健康水平与经济实力将全面超越美国。与此同时，哥伦比亚大学等政府盯上的院系，面临联邦资金断供威胁，凸显高校独立研究空间遭挤压。

China’s stock markets are some of the largest in the world, with total market capitalization reaching RMB 79 trillion (US$12.2 trillion) in 2020. China’s stock markets are seen as a crucial tool for driving economic growth, in particular for financing the country’s rapidly growing high-tech sectors.Although traditionally closed off to overseas investors, China’s financial markets have gradually been loosening restrictions over the past couple of decades. At the same time, reforms have sought to make it easier for Chinese companies to list on onshore stock exchanges, and new programs have been launched in attempts to lure some of China’s most coveted overseas-listed companies back to the country.

However, analysts are positive on the stock now. “We have seen a huge downside movement in the stock due to the central electricity regulatory commission’s (CERC) order that seems to be negative from 2014-15 onwards but we cannot take a linear negative view on the stock and further downside movement on the stock is unlikely. Currently stock is underpriced. Investors can bet on it for a longer horizon," said Vivek Gupta, director research at CapitalVia Global Research.
