基因编辑创世纪：Colossal复活灭绝万年的恐狼

生物技术公司Colossal宣布通过CRISPR技术成功复活已灭绝1万年的恐狼，三只幼崽Romulus、Remus和Khaleesi分别于2024年10月及2025年1月诞生。该技术基于俄亥俄州1.3万年前的牙齿化石和爱达荷州7.2万年前的耳骨化石提取的完整基因组，对灰狼进行14个关键基因编辑，标志着灭绝物种复活技术首次实现商业化应用。恐狼作为更新世时期北美的顶级掠食者，其复活为研究古生态系统提供了活体样本，同时引发关于生物伦理与生态平衡的全球讨论。

公司同步推进猛犸象复活计划，已完成25个基因改造，目标2028年诞生首只胚胎。

I have no inside knowledge of a potential stock listing of the popular anti-Whatsapp messaging app, Telegram. But I know this much, judging by most people I talk to, especially crypto investors, if Telegram ever went public, people would gobble it up. I know I would. I’m waiting for it. So is Sergei Sergienko, who claims he owns $800,000 of Telegram’s pre-initial coin offering (ICO) tokens. “If Telegram does a SPAC IPO, there would be demand for this issue. It would probably outstrip the interest we saw during the ICO. Why? Because as of right now Telegram looks like a liberal application that can accept anyone - right after WhatsApp and others have turn on the censorship,” he says.
