美商务部长说日本汽车不会获得关税豁免
美国商务部长霍华德·卢特尼克14日就特朗普政府计划于四月起对汽车征收约25%关税一事表示，日本不会获得豁免。在被问及对日本、韩国和德国上调关税时，卢特尼克称如果要对某个国家的汽车征收关税，那么所有国家都应一视同仁，并表示这样才公平。日本政府寻求关税措施对日本产品豁免，但并未实现。卢特尼克还称不会让日本相对于韩国或德国等其他国家获得不当的优势，并指出确保美国国内汽车生产能力不仅可以消除贸易逆差，从国家安全角度也十分重要。他强调“要将生产回归美国国内”。
