ومما حكاه أبو العباس ابن تيمية عن بعض الشيوخ أنه كان يرقي بـ«قل هو الله أحد» وكان لها بركة عظيمة، فيرقي بها غيره فلا يحصل ذلك، فيقول: (ليس قل هو الله أحد، من كل أحد، تنفع كل أحد!).
