由12月9日起，政府根據所謂預防及控制疾病規例599 F章，要求酒店作為特定表列處所，必須要求顧客及使用者使用安心出行，酒店業內員工擔心此條例的實行，會迫使員工需配合安心出行進出酒店。
就着此事，酒店業協會與政府商討後，達成指引並通知各酒店，指出不需強制員工進行安心出行才能進入酒店工作。
有消息指某些酒店未有理會酒店業協會與他們洽商的安排，而要求員工進入酒店前需進行安心出行，因而令員工感到困擾。
現呼籲各業界員工，如發現酒店強迫員工進入酒店前使用安心出行，請通知工會，我們會代為跟進。
