Sabato 14 ottobre si è tenuta a Cortina d’Ampezzo la Desmonteà, che letteralmente significa "smonticare", è una festa tradizionale delle popolazioni di montagna che segna la fine dell'estate e l'inizio dell'autunno. Vede infatti tornare a valle gli allevatori con il loro bestiame per passare l'inverno. Secondo tradizione, un lungo corteo di animali sfila nel centro paese con colori e vestiti tipici d'Ampezzo, simbolo del legame fra cultura e rispetto per la montagna e le sue diverse attività, specialmente quelle legate all’arte casearia
