لا يغركم أن إبرة (Lincomycin) مكتوب عليها أنها للحقن الوريدي ..
لأن المقصود هو أن تحقن وريديا عن طريق مغذية (IV infusion) ..
أما حقنها بشكل وريدي مباشر فممنوع باتفاق جميع المراجع العلمية .. لأنه قد يؤدي إلى هبوط ضغط "hypotension" أو حتى سكتة قلبية "cardiac arrest" ..

إما أن يتم حقنها عضليا (IM) ..
أو أن يتم تخفيف ال600 مجم من اللينكومايسين في 100 مل من مغذية NS أو Dex5% .. بحيث تتقطر وريديا خلال 60 دقيقة على الأقل (و راجع نشرة الشركة المصنعة لكل صنف) ..
