南加州大学学生们又扎营抗议，教授们在那里上课、组织诗朗诵，练瑜伽，做手工。这回校方不管了，取消了毕业典礼。加州大学河滨分校示威学生的诉求是要求学校明确承认加沙的苦难，校长就发了一封信，表示加沙的苦难无法想象，死了三万多人，数百万人流离失所、面临饥荒。尔湾分校示威活动的组织者是个华裔学生，说扎营抗议是模仿还在住帐篷的加沙难民。校长说扎营是非法的，但正在和示威学生商量划一个地方供扎营抗议。加州大学处理学生示威的方式，甚至加州的警察逮捕学生的方式，都表明加州和其他州比就是另一个世界，其他州的好教授、好学生还得往加州跑。
