قال رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: « إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى » [متفق عليه]
وقال -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أيضا: « إنَّ اللهَ لا يقبلُ من العملِ إلَّا ما كان خالصًا وابتُغي به وجهُه » [النسائي ٣١٤٠،]
وقال -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: « يا أيُّها النَّاسُ إنَّ اللَّهَ طيِّبٌ لا يقبلُ إلَّا طيِّبًا » [مسلم ١٠١٥، صحيح]. — قال الإمام ابن رجب -رحمه الله تعالى- في هذا الحديث: "وقد قيل [...] أنه لا يقبل من الأعمال إلا ما كان طيبا طاهرا من المفسدات كلها ، كالرياء والعجب ، ولا من الأموال إلا ما كان طيبا حلالا ، فإن الطيب يوصف به الأعمال والأقوال والاعتقادات ، فكل هذه تنقسم إلى طيب وخبيث." [جامع العلوم والحكم ١/٢٥٩]
فلا يقبل أي خبيث من هذه الأقسام.
فليكن الإعتقاد طيباً، مع ان يكون القول والعمل طيبا. لأن العمل الطيب يفسد بالإعتقاد الخبيث والإعتقاد الطيب لا يصحح الأعمال الخبيثة.
