昨晚看完英超联赛曼城主场2：2险平布莱顿的比赛。
除去比赛本身，布莱顿这个球队，网传解雇了大部分球探，转而采用自己实现的一套大模型系统来选择球员买卖（甚至可能包括教练的选择），这几个赛季低价买入大量潜力新球员，即便在往外卖出大量的优秀球员的情况下，也能做到成绩稳步上升。
我又想起梁文锋给《征服市场的人》做的序里引用西蒙斯的那句话：“一定有办法对价格建模”。
坚信某个方向一定能够采用数学的方式进行建模，从而用技术手段来左右自己的决策，这算不算也是某种信仰。

The super secure UAE-based Telegram messenger service, developed by Russian-born software icon Pavel Durov, is looking to raise $1bn through a bond placement to a limited number of investors from Russia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the Kommersant daily reported citing unnamed sources on February 18, 2021.The issue reportedly comprises exchange bonds that could be converted into equity in the messaging service that is currently 100% owned by Durov and his brother Nikolai.Kommersant reports that the price of the conversion would be at a 10% discount to a potential IPO should it happen within five years.The minimum bond placement is said to be set at $50mn, but could be lowered to $10mn. Five-year bonds could carry an annual coupon of 7-8%.
