中国中央气象台4月2日18时升级发布强对流天气橙色预警。这也是中央气象台设立气象灾害预警标准以来，首次发布强对流天气最高等级的预警。预计2日20时至3日20时，皖苏沪鄂湘赣浙闽桂等地的部分地区将有10级以上雷暴大风或冰雹天气，局地风力可达12级以上，最大冰雹直径20毫米以上；皖苏沪湘赣浙闽黔桂粤等地的部分地区将有短时强降水天气，最大小时雨量30-50毫米，局地可达70毫米以上。预计，强对流的主要影响时段为今天夜间。（中国中央气象台）
