يشير تعبير ربَط في المعجم العربي، أن أحد ما، وصَّل ووحَّد بين طريقين. وفكرة أن اللّٰه قد رَبَط على قلبك، تعني أن يده اللطيفة امتدّت الى قلبك وحاكت فيه الثقوب دون ندوب تذكر.
أربطة اللّٰه متينة فعلًا. لذا، حين يضيق بك الأمر ضع بينك وبين ثقب قلبك يقينًا، أن للّٰه حبل لا نراه، يرتق ويرتق حتى نعود كما كنّا ثابتين على حبّه.
