▪️سرگئی بوگاچف، رئیس آزمایشگاه ستاره شناسی خورشیدی مؤسسه تحقیقات فضایی آکادمی علوم روسیه به اسپوتنیک گفت: طوفان مغناطیسی در بالاترین (پنجمین) سطح زمین در حال وقوع است، آخرین باری که این اتفاق افتاد 20 سال پیش بود. با رسیدن دیگر امواج جرمی خورشید به زمین، سازمان فضایی ناسا طوفان الکترومغناطیسی با شدت G5 را تایید کرد.
