استيقظتُ وجهّزتُ اللّبن، وهرعتُ الى منزل أبي عليّ.
رأيتُ جمعًا من أصدقائي اليتامى أمام الباب، وفي يدِ كلّ واحد منهم اللّبنِ.
رأيتُ الأطبّاء يدخلون ويخرجون من بابِ المنزل، ومع كل خروجٍ أرى وجه الطبيب مُصفرًّا كالقمح في آخر أيّامه.
عرفتُ حينها بأنّ اللّبن لن ينفع الآن!
