أجـمل صُـور الحُـب هو الحثُّ على الـطاعة ، فمن لا يهتَـمُّ بِـآخرتـك لا يهتـمُّ بـك ، إذا رأيـتَ صديـقاً على المعـصية ولم تنـصحهُ فـاعلمْ أن حُـبَّك له نـاقِص ! أتـخافُ جرح مـشاعِره ولا تـخافُ عليه من النّـار ؟! خُـدْ بـأيدي أحـبابكَ إلى الجـنَّة ، من رأيـتهُ على طـاعة فـأثنِ عليه ومن رأيـتهُ على معصيـة فـأعِدهُ إلى الله ، ولو جـرًا من رقـبته !
- قال عُمـر بن عبد العزيـز لٍـصاحبه ؛ إذا رأيـتني قد ضللتُ الـطريق ، فـخُدْ بـجامع ثيـابي وهـزِّني هزاً عنيـفًا ، وقُـل لي ؛ يا عُـمر اتَّـقِ الله فـإنّكَ ستموت !
