بروباغندا – Propaganda: أسلوب مخادع يقوم به فرد أو جماعة، بهدف التأثير على المتلقي وتوجيهه إلى فكرة معينة، عن طريق تقديم معلومات مشكوك في صحتها أو معلومات محرّفة تمامًا، وذلك لتحقيق أهداف محددة مسبقًا، وتختلف الأهداف باختلاف الفاعل، فقد يكون الهدف سياسي أو اجتماعي أو حتى ديني، ومن أجل تحقيقه يقوم الفاعل بالضغط على المتلقي سواء كان فرد أو جماعة بأساليب عاطفية تفتقد إلى الموضوعية، هى فقط تلعب على مشاعره بهدف إستمالته والتأثير عليه وضمّه إلى القطيع.
