近日確診個案上升，本會接獲消息有關某酒店高層「勸喻」員工不要外出用膳，以免造成不必要麻煩，其「勸喻」除上班時間外亦包括下班後的私人時間。
其一名新入職員工於新年期間外出用膳，後來因該地方納入強檢範圍，而需進行強檢，雖結果為陰性，但管理層卻無理地以員工表現不合適為由，把該員工辭退，但其實質原因是員工於假期間出外用膳，造成不必要的麻煩將其辭退。
防疫雖重要，但僱傭關係只在於合約的上班時間內，而不應侵犯和干預員工私人時間，亦不應該濫用試用期的空間作出無理解僱。

The super secure UAE-based Telegram messenger service, developed by Russian-born software icon Pavel Durov, is looking to raise $1bn through a bond placement to a limited number of investors from Russia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the Kommersant daily reported citing unnamed sources on February 18, 2021.The issue reportedly comprises exchange bonds that could be converted into equity in the messaging service that is currently 100% owned by Durov and his brother Nikolai.Kommersant reports that the price of the conversion would be at a 10% discount to a potential IPO should it happen within five years.The minimum bond placement is said to be set at $50mn, but could be lowered to $10mn. Five-year bonds could carry an annual coupon of 7-8%.
